Bio

Bill Troxler is the Founding President of Common Ground on the Hill, President Emeritus of Capitol Technology University and a Fellow of the Washington Academy of Sciences. Bill is a member of 3 Sheets, an acoustic trio focused on local history, traditional music, Irish music and nautical music. A multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, he is a gifted teacher and performer, having taught at Augusta Heritage Center and the Swannanoa Gathering. He is known in the hammered dulcimer world for his thought-provoking articles in Dulcimer Player's News and in Mel Bay's e-zine Dulcimer Sessions. Bill not only composes songs for 3 Sheets, he writes, and arranges music for live theatre and film. In his spare time he is a member of the resident cast of the Chincoteague Island Theatre Company.
