This class is for bodhrán players who want to build an inventory of tipper patterns that support the tune types most frequently heard at Celtic sessions: hornpipes, jigs, slip jigs, reels, polkas and slides. Advanced beginners and intermediate players will find the class helpful. Students may simultaneously register for both this course and the Bodhrán – Next Steps course in Pd. 3. The two courses complement one another. Students must bring their own drums and tippers. The class will be supported by video and text on a website with free access after the week-long live instruction concludes.
