Christine Keiner is a graduate of Western Maryland College (now McDaniel College) who received her Ph.D. from Johns Hopkins University. An environmental historian who appears in A Passion for Oysters, Christine is the author of The Oyster Question: Scientists, Watermen, and the Maryland Chesapeake Bay since 1880 and other books. She is currently Department Chair of the Department of Science, Technology and Society at Rochester Institute of Technology.
