Eve Blackwater is a NYC musician with a background in theater, education and circus arts. She is an active member of the rock scene, playing music that encompasses folk, punk, indi and blues. In addition to her solo work, Eve is the front person for Brokeneck Girls, an all female band specializing in traditional murder ballads and the phenomenon of violence against women in music and art. She has written a play based on folk legends and featuring her band, which premiers in the fall of 2023. Eve has a BFA from NYU and does both screen and stage acting work. Passion projects include directing self-scripting workshops to at-risk teens and running a live-streaming channel on Twitch. In her spare time, Eve runs the Greenpoint Songwriters Exchange, a Brooklyn-based artists-helping-artists collective.
