Lydia Martin's musical style is a fusion of tradition and innovation. She has performed across the United States and in Ireland, beginning in 1995 with the Martin Family Band and now touring with Jonah Giuliano, presenting their album “Distant Country” releasing in May 2026. Her performances have earned her a unique place in the folk music community. In 2016, her solo album “Chasing the Ghost” hit the National Folk DJ Chart at #5 in the United States.

In Spring 2026, Lydia Martin and mountain dulcimer player Jonah Giuliano are releasing the CD Distant Country, a trailblazing new look at old time music traditions.
