Daniel R. Collins Collins is an EMMY award-winning documentary film director based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His academic path has been focused on media and social change. Dan has attended Common Ground on the Hill for more than twenty-five years, as a volunteer, performer, student, and teacher. Dan is a storyteller at heart. His documentary films explore poignant perspectives that audiences would otherwise might never experience. He has worked with combat veterans (From War to Wisdom), undocumented migrants in United States (Estamos Aquí), social justice activists (The Twin Poets, The Peoples Report), Hollywood celebrities (My Friend Ed), and groundbreaking glass artists (Paul J. Stankard: Flower & Flame). Dan has served on the Common Ground on the Hill Board of Directors and helps manage the Common Ground Veterans Initiative. During Traditions Weeks, you'll often find him helping to lead the song circles in the gazebo.
