Max. 12 students, ages 14 and up.‍

Learn about welding and how to make metal things. Students will MIG weld, resistance spot weld, plasma cut, grind, saw, shear, and form metal to make a sculpture or functional item.

Materials fee: $40 includes weld wire, gas, metal and paint

Students should have:

  • work gloves (welding gloves provided)
  • closed toe shoes
  • natural fiber old clothing (aprons available)
