Let’s move your ukulele playing into some exciting music! Standard swing repertoire will be used to take you into the world of movable chords, rootless chords, and typical swing progressions. It will give you the tools to play in more keys, recognize common chord progressions so that you can play in jam sessions, accompany singers (even yourself), or help you on your way to being a key player in a band. Once you get some of these chords and progressions under your fingers you will be better able to see how harmonies and melodies move through a song to take your playing up a level. The C tuning (G-C-E-A) will be used.

Students should be able to make the chord changes found in beginner courses with reasonable ease.
