More than artful description, the nature poem is a deep reach to know—through words—our familiar landscapes and the creatures who dwell there with us. Each of the five sessions will include: Reading for Inspiration (contemporary nature poems, including prose poems); Practice (in-class exercises from prompts); Workshop (time to appreciate, and learn from, our mutual efforts).
