Green Valley Samaritan Shura Wallin has dedicated her life to feeding the homeless and saving migrants crossing the borderlands of Sonoran Desert. This powerful Oscar Qualifying documentary explores the conditions faced by immigrants and to what extent volunteers will go to help these people in need. Take this opportunity to learn, to bear witness. Shura will be joined by Rev. Randy Mayer and co-filmmaker David Damian Figueroa. The evening will close with the inspired and award-winning songwriting of Kristen Grainger and her Oregon band, True North.

Monday’s keynote presentation will be the subject of the interactive Search for Common Ground class on Tuesday, July 9, at 4 PM.
