Come and learn about piping traditions from across the world. Did you know that Nero allegedly played not the fiddle but a type of bagpipe, tibia utricularis, while Rome burned? Many bagpipes are played with bellows instead of blowing into the bag. Arguably, Scotland has the most well known piping tradition in the world.  However, these magnificent wind instruments can be found all over Europe including Ireland (Uilleann pipes), Spain (Gaita), France (cabrette, cornemuse), England (border pipes, Northumbrian Pipes), Bulgaria (gaija), Italy, and across the world.
