Chord Basics 2.0 is designed for players who already feel comfortable with basic chords and are ready to take the next step. We'll build on what you know - exploring new chord shapes, sounds and, most importantly, knowledge to put it all to practical use in playing.

While this class picks up where Chord Basics 1.0 (offered virtually in Week 1) leaves off, you're absolutely welcome - and encouraged - to join us even if you didn't take the first course. All you need is the ability to play and move comfortably between a few chords, and most importantly, a willingness to have fun while growing your skills.

Together we'll explore:

• chords beyond basic triads
• common chord progressions you'll use again and again
• practical chord substitutions and how they work
• creative approaches to accompaniment
• taking fiddle tunes beyond the basics. Have a tune you'd love to spice up? Bring it to class!
