Pick up a diatonic harmonica in the key of A, enroll in this class and enter the world of melodic harmonica. Your instructor, Dave Burkitt, has been playing the harmonica for 50 years and has launched many fellow harp players. Dave will teach you how to find the melody notes on your “harp” and begin playing easy songs and tunes that you already know.

Harmonicas will be available for purchase at the Common Ground store, however, consider buying a harmonica right away and begin to get comfortable with this wonderful little fixed-reed instrument, capable of making great music. Carry it with you everywhere you go! If you have additional keys, such as D and G, bring them as well.
