Somatics, developed by Thomas Hanna, is a neuromuscular education that relieves chronic pain and prevents recurring injuries by re-educating the nervous system. Somatics classes are very relaxing. You'll learn slow, gentle, focused movements that are suitable for all ages and fitness levels. You can do these movements anywhere to relieve pain and tension, prevent injuries, improve posture, increase range of motion and flexibility, as well as to warm up and cool down from workouts.
NOTE: Students should have a yoga mat and blanket or two blankets.
