The ideas and the practices of nonviolence are often highly imaginative and remind us how powerful creativity can be - not only in the arts but anywhere that change finds some wiggle room to blossom. Nonviolence also calls for the kind of deliberate practice that makes an artist into a virtuoso. In this course we will look at nonviolence and its uses, but with an emphasis on the similarities between nonviolence and other creative activities.
