AnaCe Velasquez and Patricia Rodriguez will take you on a journey to Bolivia while visiting the marvelous places where their traditional crafts came from.  From the Andes to the Amazon, they will explore traditional crafts while understanding what they represent for the sustainability of their communities in their current context. Hear first-hand from the artisans and experience Bolivia through its soul and essence.

AnaCe Velasquez is well known to the Common Ground on the Hill community, as an instructor, staff person, and Board member for many years. After living in the United States, AnaCe returned to her native Bolivia, where she worked in sustainable development projects and later became Country Director of MSI Bolivia, an NGO that works for women's holistic health. Patricia Rodriguez is the owner of Walisuma, a Bolivian company that seeks to strengthen appreciation for Bolivian arts and crafts by engaging directly with the artisans and promoting fair trade relationships.
