This course is designed for students who want to develop their skills in playing mandolin and guitar and experience the joy of ensemble playing. The course focuses on the repertoire of Europe, with particular emphasis on the folk music of Spain, Italy, France, Germany, and Scandinavia.

Prerequisites: Students should have basic proficiency in playing mandolin and/or guitar. Familiarity with music notation and/or tablature is necessary. Other stringed instruments are welcome: bass, violin, etc. When in doubt, please check with instructor: poorts1@gmail.com.
