Common Ground is funded by the We Shall Overcome Fund, provided by the Highlander Research and Education Center. This fund provides scholarships for Common Ground on the Hill's Tradition Weeks to underserved youths of color in Carroll County, in partner with Higher Learning, Inc.

 

The Highlander Research and Education Center is located in Tennesse and serves as a catalyst for grassroots organizing and movement building in Appalachia and the U.S. South.
