Monday: Learn about the two dimensional art forms of Manga, Drawing, Painting, and Photography with artists Kelsey Wailes, Ken Batista, Ellen Elmes, Barb Steele, Phil Grout and Don Elmes
Tuesday: Learn about three dimensional art forms of Ceramics, Step Stones, Paper, Mosaics, Basketry, and Maskmaking with artistsKathy Sanchez, Gil Sanchez, Jim McDowell, Carolyn Seabolt, Janet Kozachek, Joyce Schaum, and Ann Lyneah Curtis.
Wednesday: Learn about Fibre and Wearable Arts such as Hatmaking, Japanese Landscape Quilting,Polymer Clay, Funky Junque Jewelry, Weaving and Beading with artists Tatiana Rakhmanina, Mimi Hodgins Hay,Lenora Kandiner, Sarah Murphy, Gwen Handler and Jennifer Riley-Akers.
Thursday: Learn about the arts of Metalsmithing, Blacksmithing, Wood Turning and Shaker Box Making from artists John Sosnowsky, Ted McNett,
Ken Swartz, Rick Smith and John Bachmann.
Friday: Join us for The Student Art Show in Peterson Computer Lab and the ground floor classrooms!
Week II
Monday: Attend the opening reception of the Visual Art Instructors! Learn about the art forms of Manga, Oil and Plein Air Painting, Photography, and Batik with artists Kelsey Wailes, Jaime Cooper, Jeanean Songco Martin, Gwen Handler, Walter Calahan. and Carolyn Seabolt.
Tuesday: Learn about primitive and Native American three dimensional art forms of Ceramics, Flute and Dulcimer Making, Canoe building, Mosaics and Flint Knapping with artists Jeremy Wright, Robin Tillery, Slim Harrison, Tom Jolin, Ken Koons, Charlie Billie, Janet Kozachek and Kirk Drier.
Wednesday: Learn about Fibre and Wearable Arts such as Finger Weaving,
Knitting and Felting, Diné Weaving, Underground Railroad Quilting with artists Tom Conde, Bobby Ward, Roy Kady, and Barb Neel.
Thursday: Learn about the arts of Metalsmithing, Blacksmithing , and WoodCarving and Spoon Making from artists Linda Van Hart, Ted McNett, Shel Browder, Steve Cross and Göran Olsson.
Friday: Join us for The Student Art Show in Peterson Computer Lab and the ground floor classrooms!
